Dia, you better not default our fight (once I get in). D:< If you do, I\'m paunching you.

Cara, cool, simple, and clean comics are nice. It\'s soft. I like it. But work on drawing face okay.

I\'ve got no reason to ride you for it.  I know it\'s not a prose site, but I always thought there should be a place to post scripts without images in the forum somewhere.  Or at the least, outlines of what could have been.

@Caravaggio: not bad for a first battle, I liked the story. I have to agree about the line widths though and I also suggest you work on drawing faces some more.

You still did a nice job, keep at it and manage your time a bit better~

It wasn\'t just the Microns, I managed to lose the notebooks I had written the script in as school ended, I had also forgotten I was going to have relatives living over here, in my house. I also didn\'t think that they might interfere with my being able to have a decent amount of free time for this, so that was just bad planning and organization on my part. Those defaults with Larathen though were just me being a lump and not doing things. [Well, I did submit a comic for that first battle, but apparently both out comics weren\'t up to par, and were not put up for voting]

Caravaggio, I really owe ya for this one. I loved how you wrote your story. If there is anyway I can pay you pack for that just tell me.

Sorry guys. ]:

I made the thumbnails, if you ever want to have custom made thumbnails put up, just email me and Wei your thumbnails. (I recommend both of us since you never know who will get to uploading the battle first)

I meant want to finish any page in general for a fight.  Though I do want to return to these so I can put them up for other things like a private site or DA gallery.  Though now that I think about it, I think I\'ll wait til his whole story is through to go back and fix it up, that way the entire thing will be at least somewhat consistent with itself (I only see him in 3 or 4 fights).

Question:  Who made the thumbs?  I thought there\'d be a separate place to upload dome, but I didn\'t see it.  Thanks to whomever it was.  I thought there\'d be a chicken in there, but thanks all the same.

Just leave your pages as is, it\'s best to move onto the next battle with what you learned from this one than to dwell on an old battle

Aw, now dimension\'s still the only one to draw Mr. Fox.
Eh-heh, naw, I was just being silly when I said I drew it in a week.  More like two, but it took a week to write.
As much as I want to finish my pages, I have to admit I want to be a little experimental with these, so I imagine my inconsistent line work will elicit many chapters on the subject from Angie. :)

Thanks.

Diascope-this is your 3rd default, you had 2 others when you double defaulted with Larathen twice. This is getting kind of ridiculous. While I understand that shit happens, you have to roll with the punches and do what you can to get stuff in. I know that Void isn\'t a job and I know it\'s just the internet, but internet or not, your opponent spent the time to do something and got it in, without being paid to do so. If your microns are the reason for your default, you still have other methods to work with.

Caravaggio-It\'s my understanding that you drew this all in a week from your comment. If that\'s the case, then I\'m impressed. You do however need to seriously work on your time management. While a week is sufficient for a nice short comic, most people can\'t pull off doing a very long comic in a week and make it good. (there are exceptions like Colossus, Monday, etc) I know that writing is apparently an important step for you, and it should be. But that should all be done in no more than a week. The other 3 weeks should be spent working on the actual comic so you can have a finished product at the end of the deadline.

You had some nice shots in here and I enjoyed the story, but the rushed look of the art really hurt you. You\'re having some trouble with linewidths, while your backgrounds look very good and have a good understanding of how linewidths should be treated, you lose it all in your figures. There were many panels where Deman\'s head blended into the background because of this. Be careful with some of your dialogue, while most of it worked well, you had instances like panel 6 on page 2 where all of a sudden Marreck\'s speech pattern changes.

I didn\'t mind the story\'s length and appreciated the pacing you had going, but like I said, you need good time management skills to be able to pull off longer battles. I look forward to your next battle!

You really have to try planning out your battle to a set number of pages and sticking to it. I know it\'s hard to cut out stuff but it really would make your stories better and more interesting. The art looks fine to me, but I suppose with less pages you could make them amazing while you\'re at it too. I just got a little disinterested in parts. Good first battle though. Hope you keep at it.

Diascope: There\'s a deadline for a reason ya know?

Caravaggio: Solid first entry man, but I gotta say... you gotta make more time for these things for yourself. 4 weeks man. That\'s enough time to draw at least the minimum of 3 solid good lookin\' pages on your half. If you waste time at the beginning, you\'re gonna be hurtin\' when it\'s down the the final minutes!

One thing you can do to lessen the strain on your hand: Less pages! You\'d be surprised at what you can do when you lessen the page count from over 10 down to 6 or 7. Anywho, artwise... well it was decent for a last minute type of deal man, but I honestly don\'t like the art style you have here. Way too much negative space going on and personally I\'d try to draw the anthro character a bit more simplistic and not get too much of the detail on his fur and such.

The story... um... I think it could of been shorter, but I think some things could of been written better. I did like the talking wall bit, and the marionette chicken fight... but everything in between was just boring chatter that could of been cut short for time.

Pretty decent entry though, keep on fighting.

Haha, that\'s kind of how it goes, Mr. C.  Drawing is one thing, but drawing on a DEADLINE is a completely different animal.

okally dokally, let\'s do this.
I have to apologize, this isn\'t as done as it should be, but I\'d rather do the rest for deviantart or something with tempered shading then do messy shading just to get it done now.  There\'s still some linework to be done, but it\'s legible, I think.  I could make excuses about having to rebuild my mother\'s porch (found a 50 year old newspaper under there!) but I really just didn\'t set aside enough time for myself.  Also, sorry if the font is hard to read, I made it myself, but I\'m only recently realizing the kerning problems it has.

I\'ve got a few minutes left here, but I can\'t do more, my hand will fall off.

Being under the clock is Awful for my poor blood pressure.

Hmmmm, I should probably get started on this at some point.  It\'s not hard to draw 22 pages of script in less than a week, right?  Hetero. :|

G\'luck now.
